Moving to Japan in August... Anyone in Hokkaido? -

Hey everyone,
I'll be moving to Eastern Hokkaido in August as a new English teacher. Just looking for some new friends in the area. I am a very sociable person, and I don't know what I'm gonna do with my free time without friends! Kitami is the name of the city I'll be residing in, but I love to travel... so as long as you are somewhere in Hokkaido (or Japan) and interested in making a new friend, get in touch!

I'm also new to JF.
I live in Tokyo now, but I used to live in Hakodate (Southern part of Hokkaido). Actually summer in Japan is so humid and hot that most of the American or Canadian can bear. But Hokkaido is a different climate. So you're lucky to have a first visit to Japan in summer in cool area. Feel free to contact me if you have any more question.
