Literacy in Japan is nearly 100%. I mean if your language is convoluted to the point that most native speakers have a hard time with it, it would have to be! :cool:

Sorry, but we were talking about ”どもう”, as quoted in my first reply. ;)

That would be interesting, though, if it were an abbreviation for こんにちわ. I wonder what area that would be from? In mine, we say "っちわ” or, if you're being REALLY casual, "ちゅっす”. Isn't that cool? :D
