Looking for Japanese Friends in NYC

I'm and African American Male who has a huge interest in Japan. I love the Anime, the Women and the Music, and I want to visit Tokyo next summer, but I have no Japanese freinds at all and I need to change that. I'm a Graphic Designer who is looking to create his own fashion line soon. I'm really artistic and very hansome (I just thought I'd throw that in there, ladies ) I'd love to meet Japanese friends (male or female) to share ideas with and hang out with. Is anybody out there?
