Canadian filmmaker looking for japanese filmmakers!
 

Hello there,

I'm a french-canadian filmmaker and I'm currently working of my first feature film which takes place between Montreal and Tokyo.

The main character is living in Japan and is a TV-show director.

I'm looking for fellow filmmakers to have input about the filmmaking industry in Japan.
I would like to have information about many aspect of the tv and film industry such as:

- Is there "freelance" work?
- How is it seen to quit a job?
- Is there any type of censorship in the content of a film?
- Is there recording studio for voice over work?

Thank you for your input! I'm planning a visit to Japan in late december...
