tohrukyo, in answer to your question, most players make their own outfits. You can of course buy them, but they are expensive.

(being only in my early 20s but suspecting that I am one of the older people around here), I don't think you can be too old to cosplay; there are plenty of older characters in anime and as long as you're still into it, you shouldn't hold back.

personally, I've been Orochimaru and Kiba from Naruto (on separate occassions, obvoiusly), Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach, and Inuyasha from Inuyasha.

and to concur with the previous comment, it's best to make your own costumes and I find that to be a great part of the fun!

I would love to get into Cosplaying but theres nothing like that where I live. I guess I'd have to travel. I still want to go to an Anime convention real bad.

I've been cosplaying for the last three years. I recently have started doing group cosplays, before it was just my little sister and I. It's a lot of fun, and I plan on continuing with it for some time to come.

Oh who do you cosplay? The only one I have so far is Vampire Princess Miyu but I'll soon be adding Sakura from Tsubasa Chronicle.
