looking for Japanese friends

my name is Lawrence Pajel (male/ age 31) Japan has always been close to me, not only geographically, but physically and emotionally.

I would like to have Japanese friends on the personal level, which is my main goal.

I was born in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. when I was 10. I got my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Elon University in 2003 at Burlington, North Carolina. I would also like to establish business contacts that are Japanese. I have a lot of family members in the Philippines as well as here in the U.S. that can help finance any Japanese business endeavors.

All I want to get from this forum are Japanese friends, whether it be in business or pleasure. I just want to make it a long-term relationship. I'm in the process of buying a Canon G70 wordtank Japanese dictionary to immensely help me learn Nihongo, along with the other Japanese language resources that I have.
