Just a Simple Poem

I am determined to erase the pain the chains me,
to the past the almost claimed me,
to the present in which no one could save me.

I am heartbroken to hear of your misfortune,
the result of your misdeeds coming undone,
and the reactions of those who've only begun,
to see the real face behind the mask.

I am saddened to see myself falling,
deep into a darkness, all to familiar,
the blackness in which I've always found more solitude,
than the light that seemed to blind me.

I am crying because I've lost it,
my innocence,my love, my sanity,
I have pushed you away.
and shattered the illusion of what is really me.....

is this what I've become?
Is that, a heartless and tragic victim,
is this what I am becoming?

it is such a wonderful poem, though yes you d seem depressed, though i write alot when i am depressed, but it is wonderful
