Boat building materials

I've gotten it in to my head to build a couple of small row boats and canoes that I found on the Internet but don't know of anywhere in the Tokyo area that sells the materials (marine plywood, fiberglassing materials etc) except Tokyu Hands and they are WAY too expensive. Can any one help me?
