I'm probably the best artist in my school...so no one here can say that they did something (and took mine) without me, or one of the staff knowing. The internet is a different story tho. (I mark everything that I do.)

And my art teacher told me to draw on in charcol so i did and i turned it in. A few weeks later the art teacher was asking me were my charcol drawing was. I looked on her table and saw my picture framed and it had this ugly fat boys name on it and I was like "thats mine" and the art teacher said that Hugo said it was his but in the end i got it back.

All of this was about an apple? Who is Hugo and why didn't you hire Ninja to kill him?:D

I would hire a ninja

Um...

Copyright law?

Heard of 'em?

Oh, and watermarks. Those are handy too.

If you find stolen artwork on DeviantArt, just press "report deviation" on the stolen piece. That's pretty much all you can do. Oh, and don't flame the person who you think stole the piece. That will just make things worse.

I don't give a crap if someone stole my art, until it actually gets to a quality that would be stealable I'm really not concerned about it.

Why would copyright a drawing? Since you aren't thinking of selling it, it's too much of a paper work for just a drawing.

On a random note, I made myself a new drawing...

What do you think? Pretty original, hum?
xD

You've actually got some pretty nice stuff, but you'd be surprised at what people will steal. :p

Thanks ~ Yeah I suppose. I just guess I wouldn't be as bothered as some people but that depends on the piece.
