Thanks and I don't know...I suppose you could say that everything inspires me...lol. I've always written, since too far back to remember. I suck at math but words are my strong point I guess. If I could somehow collect all the poems I've ever written, I'm sure it would surpass 300...

"Under the Moon" (June 3rd, 2007)

Are we still the same?
I ask this question to the sky
We're still under the moon
But yet we're different, you and I (yes I'm aware the correct way is "you and me" in this context, but meh--I needed a ryhme)
The smiles we once shared
Have all faded into the clouds
Things that once seemed perfect
Are no longer allowed
But still we're under the moon
Still live each day breath by breath
Still think about each other
Brought to grips by concepts of death
Yet...I miss you under the sun
Though we're together under the moon
So far away, too far away
But I'll be with you soon
How I've wished upon your eyes
Please, it's not hard to try
Just give me one last chance
Before I die
Under the moon

When I wrote this sometime last spring, it was right off the top of my head. I understood it when I wrote it...lmao

Satan's List

A sudden darkness unveils itself;
It yet remains to be
But peculiar I took myself
To its home beyond the sea

A sparring house I came up to
Where men fought men who fought
A list of names that Satan knew-
And of an angel's thoughts

The dim light reflected in their eyes,
Like the soft glow of the moon
The truth in all their starry lies
Came too quickly; left too soon

And an officer he did not see
Whose patrol was in the night
A price to pay to watch the sea
Of dark and perils fright

A light step they sought to take
But fell instead on ice-
As right turned into pure mistake;
Cold death was not suffice

The list they put into my hand-
A few names newly cut;
The lines I did not understand
And uttered a quick "what?"

A bony finger from the men
Pointed to one line right then
And said I'd return once again
Written right there in plain pen

A smile curled about the lips
Of Satan's red rose mouth-
Taken of men's blood sweet iron sips
He was from the deep black "south"

The line henceforth misunderstood
Had laid my life to rest-
The line that spoke told no good;
My name stirring among the hell-bound rest

Also called: "Kirei na Sakura no Gokai" Aaah people have been asking for a yuri/yaoi twist poem (cough cough BENJAMIN!!) so I took a stab at it. Realize, though, that this is my first attempt at anything YURI. I've done plenty yaoi things, but never yuri.


She was oblivious--
She didn't know, it seemed.
Walking by in silence,
Only speaking in my dreams

A light touch;
She held my hand--
How could she...?
She didn't understand

When she smiles at me,
Why does my heart go numb?

Broken Autumn (5/5/08)

I leave a single kiss for you on the wind
I have never let it go before this day
Filled with too much anger
Time must mend this broken autumn
Before the wind will carry any of me to you
It may take too long to make any difference
Yet I’m sure the wind could carry a kiss much better than my tongue can speak the
words I want to say
Such things are lost on me
I do not always understand
So I must leave it up to time to mend these broken autumn leaves that have fallen from
