The Story 2

I got carsick almost instantly, i havent been ina car in 11 years. 30 miles an hour feels like 100 when youve been walking for that long. I didnt trust this Charlie girl, after all she did try to kill Suzette. I started to wonder if perhaps it was all a setup. Charlie set Samurai on me and Suzette killed him to gain my trust now they both were taking me to a place to kill me. Those thoughts raced through my mind. Perhaps Charlie just wanted to save us. Maybe she wanted us BOTH dead. I didnt know. Tinkles was a good dog, she (im assuming its a girl) sat next to me in the back of the truck. We got to an old warehouse. It seemed safe so I slowly followed the other two inside. I grabbed Suzettes hand out of fright, she glared at me so i quickly let go, i blushed and felt stupid. "I'm sorry" i said. I kept my dagger on the ready just in case they decide to double-cross me. They both told of their past... I felt as though I wasnt alone for the first time in a long time. I felt safer after that, all those thoughts i had before went away.

The next morning I woke to the sound of a fight, I intantly stood up and went to go see what was happening. Some dark shadowy figure was fighting with Charlie and Suzette. He saw me running towards them. "its you! Now that your dog is finnally dead i can finish you off!" My eyes went wide. It was this son of a bitch who caused samurai to try to kill me. "Who the hell are you?" i said. "Just call me Bedeviler," he said back. As the dark figure charged towards me Suzette jumped in to kill him with her machete. I knew it wouldn't work on him. He tunred his attention to her, I saw her the way I've never seen her, she was scared. "Youre the one who interupted me when i was trying to kill this kid. You killed that dog! Now you must die! You little slut!" he said. I had to do something. I couldnt let her die. I jumped in front of the demon as he pumped towards her. I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I didnt even know what happened but the next thing I knew was I was on the ground. I saved her. The last thing i remember seeing is the shadowy figure dissapearing.

The next thing I knew i was in the old hospital which had survived much of the blast. charlie and Suzette were in there with me. I looked at Suzette who was actually crying and I smiled. "youre welcome," i said...

[Excessum]

"This is impossible... How could this arrogant mortal see me, i am a spirit, a ghost, no living been can sense my presence unless i desire so! Does he have some supernatural powers? Hmm... most interesting, maybe I can use him... but I have to be more careful, to keep myself hidden... Let me just follow them for a while"
After arriving at the hospital something happened:"Nooo, the pain... the darkness is taking over me again... arrrgh..."

"Blooodddd, ha ha ha..." a sinister laugh filled halls of the local hospital... The only doctor in the hospital and both nurses ran away in panic, leaving the brave trio alone in this struggle with the invisible enemy... The pain and suffering enclosed in the walls of this hospital, where hundreds and hundreds of nuclear war victims had met their final hour, had spontaneously woken up Bedevilers dark side once more...

*** Right guys, Excessum is not going to be near PC in the weekend, so be sure to find a way how to remove Bedeviler from the scene (at least for a couple of days) OR i can start a new villain in the Monday, if this story will prove itself... erm... viable ***

I knew it was going to be bad. Yamato was injured and I didn't trust Charlie at all. The laugher grew louder and louder. It sounded like a kilelr clown laugh but we couldn't see who or what was making the sound. I told Charlie to stay and watch over Yamato as I went to find whatever it was. I wasn't afaird of the sound but I was afarid for Yamato. he couldn't fight since he was hurt. I walked out of the room with my machete in hand and I walked down the hallway. The people that were laying in the rooms were scared but they seemed calm, probably becuase of the morphine. I went into the lobby area and was suddenely attacked from behind. I was knocked onto the ground and my machete flu across the floor. I was defensless now.

Charlene told me to stay put but I couldnt just sit here and watch Suzette die, I had to get out there, I jumped out of bed and screamed in pain as I walked towards the door. Charlene knew why I was doing this so she didnt stop me. BD was there. He was about to attack Suzette. I quickly garbbed the machete on the ground and flung it at the unsuspecting monster decapitating him. I wasnt sure if he was really dead but I had to be sure. I slowly walked over and picked up the machete and held it above my head. Since Suzette could not see this demonic bastard she thought I was about to kill HER. "This one's for Samurai," i said and drove that machete throiugh the heart of the prone monster. BD exploded in a ball of flame and once the flame disappeared he was gone. For good. I helped Suzette up who was so confused. all she saw was me stab the ground and a ball of fire. I collapsed in pain and Suzette caught me and held me close. "Yamato... I..." Charlene was standing there by now. "Tell her Yamato." she said smiling.

"tell me what?" Suzette said. She dropped me on the floor and grabbed the machete. "you two are double crossing me arent you!?"

"no," i said with my head down. "Suzette... I... L..." I couldnt say it. I couldnt. She was too tough for me, she was stronger than me, i was weak. She would never feel the same. Suddenly Suzette's face of rage turned to one of pity. "What is it Yamato, tell me," she said.

"I kinda like you Suzette.... actually I like you alot... I mean... i dont know." i studdered that entire sentance, i felt like an idiot. "i like you too yamato. You risked your life for me... TWICE... i dont know but something about you is different." I had to do it. the next thing i knew i had kissed her. Its almost a blur to me. It happened so fast. She just smiled....

**awww happy ending... ????? yea BD will be back and badder than ever... on monday lol**

*** mattholen, you are trying to be sarcastic on Excessum? or you just were bored by this story and decided to end it quickly, hmm? Excessum tried to draw your attention to the fact that Bedeviler is a ghost, and You still did not take it in your consideration... well anywho, Ex is not the one who dictates the rules of the game here, he just wanted this story to have a bit more settled plot... well, maybe the next time... ***

"What the hell" Charlie shouted as she stared at suzette on the floor. Something had knocked her down but charlie couldn't see it. "Idiot!!!!You left Yamato alone." Suzette snarled. "Yeah Yeah Tinkles(is a male) is with him." "You don't trust me very much do you?" With that question Charlie was knocked to the ground by an invisible force. Suzette tried to stand but upon doing so she realized her left ankle was badly injured. Putting pressure of any kind on it was excruciating. "Charlie get up!" Suzette yelled. Charlie flipped up onto her feet but could see nothing. "Where?.... Where is it?.." She stammered. Charlie had no weapon but stood at the ready "Duck left!" Suzette yelled. "Now right elbow up hard!" Charlie followed Suzette's orders. "Jump" "Dodge right" " Bring your knee up". Suzettes orders were connecting but Charlie was getting nowhere. She stopped and put her fingers in her mouth. "Wheeet Whooooo" She whistled. Moments later Tinkles came bounding around the corner Yamato slowly following. " Tinkles think you could lend us a hand?" The dog Barked in reply.

Tinkles lowered his head and stretched out his front paws slowly The air in the corridor was getting very hot. The dog seemed to be gaining in size and in fact it was. Tinkles' muscles expanded and the hair on the back of his neck stood up in what looked like slim fine razors. He barred his sharp teeth and looked directly at the spector that only he and Suzette could see. The dog lunged. He hit his mark. The spector was more startled then injured and struggled for only a short time with the dog before deciding to leave. "The three of you are fools do you have any idea who and what I am". The spector sneered. Even Charlie hear those words. "I'll Get all of you and your little dog to."(sorry I couldnt help it) The spector was gone.

Yamato rushed to where Suzette was sitting, concern burning in his eyes. She was fine it would not take long for her ankle to heal. Charlie thought"My God that girl is remarkable" "You could see that thing?" Charlie asked. "Yes quite clearly" Suzette replied. "Well don't that beat all." "Look I know the two of you don't trust me but we're all in a bit of a jam here. That thing won't leave us alone now that we've pissed it off. And whydoes it seem to have a hate on for Yamato?" " The three of us are just going to have to try and get along." "If You want keep your eye on me and I'll keep mine on you, but kids you two are all I got right now and I'm all you got." Charlie finished her little sermon and both Yamato and Suzette nodded . They had to figure out Who this spector was, or what it was and why did it decide on them.

"Umm....Charlie?" Yamato asked quietly "Hmm what?" She rplied. "Well about your dog......." He said. "Oh that hahahahahahahahahah Tinkles is one of those mutations caused from the fall out after the war. He's a good dog and trust me he is deffinatley someone you want to have around in a pinch."

"Let's Go!!!!" Suzette snapped. "If we're going to have to work together The two of you will just have follow me." She said. Yamato trotted off to his room and gathered his belongings. Suzette and Charlie simply stared at each other while they waited. "Is it the boy your worried about? Cause I don't want him, to scrawny of a kid." Charlie said. Suzette didn't speak but a calmness settled into her eyes. " Your a very interesting woman Charlie." Suzette remarked "Yeah your one hell of a piece of work too sweetie." Charled answered. "Don't Call me sweetie." Suzette said Charlie laughed " Alright then hun your the boss lady, here comes the kid, Where to now?"......

Ok. I might not get time for the computer over the weekend so do what you will with Charlie and Tinkles just don't kill us off.

We all walked out of the hospital a little shook up but ok. I still wasn't sure what was going on and what that thing was that I saw. I didn't feel like talking about it but Yamato was being presistance and wanted to know what was going on.
"I don't know and I really don't want to talk about it either ok?"
"Fine. Whatever."
Yamato wasn't taking no for an answer but he understood. I had a feeling he knew what was going on to but I had no clue. Charlie was looking on as we walked to her truck. We got into her truck in silence and we just drove. I sat looking out the window without even blinking. Everything outside was just so dead and lifeless that it was hard to think of how it used to be. How the grass used to be green and the sky used to be blue and the trees used to be so strong that you could climb on them and be safe... I started to cry to myself but I knew it would be noticed. And of course, Yamato was the first to noticed. He put his arm around me and I just collapsed into his arms. They were inviteing and they felt like something I haven't felt in a while, safe. Charlie glanced over at us.
"Hey, you two get a room or soemthing." She said giggling. She knew that there wasn't almost anything left in this town. Yamato and I giggled too. It felt good to laugh. I quickly stopped laughing when I saw something, well more like someone in the street. They were just standing there with two guns tucked under his coat. What now?...
