The Story 2

It was so strange, i could almost sense where they were, I could hear a voice telling me what direction to go, almost sounded like my mom. I just called out the directions and charlie sped to where i told her to. I had to save her, I wasnt going to let that bastard kill her. We arrived at a dark and sinister looking house made of stone that was completely intact, like noting had happened. I pulled out my dagger and charlie was about to get out but i stopped her, "this could get dirty, I dont want you in there if things get crazy." i said with a serious look on my face. You think that stopped her? no way, "yamato, i know why your doing this. You love her." she said. I didnt answer just looked away and said, "ok, you can come with me."

We went inside and instantly I felt that pain again, the same one as in the church. BD was standing right in front of me. "boy, its time you know the truth, and your significance," he started and I wanted nothing more than to just kill him but i was curious of this for days now. Charlie was lookign around, she heard him but couldnt see him but he was right there. "you are the Tanaka boy correct?" he asked me. I havent heard that name in years. How did he know my last name? "yes," i said griting my teeth.

he continued, "you remember how your parents died? they werent killed in the explosion. I killed your parents." My heart stopped. Charlie looked at me in disbelief. "but when it came ime to kill you I lost all my power, and it caused a strange thing to occur, I became visible to you and one other person... her." he pointd to suzette standing behind him with that same look on her face. "shes a pretty one, almost pains me to have to kill her. hehehehe... o wait. i dont... YOU do." He waved his hand and suzette lunged at me with her machete drawn. Our two weapons clashed toether several times. I've never fought someone so strong with a weapon before. She got a slice on me that cut my arm up pretty bad. But I was determined, i wasnt going to kill her, I was there to save her. I caught her cheek with my dagger andshe just whiped the blood away. "your worthless," BD said to suzette. I got a few more cuts in on her before BD started to make a strange moanin sound like he was in pain, he disappeared and Suzette collapsed. I grabbed her and whiped the blood away and she looked at me, "yamato? what happened? why am I all cut up?" we told her everything.

We got her bandaged up and I helped her into the truck. I stood on a hill and thought about my parents and realied it was my mom who was speaking to me earlier. "i will avenge your death mom and dad." Suzette walked up to me, "yamato theres one thing I dont get, if you can see him because he killed your parents then how can i see him?"

"i dont know." suddenly i heard my mom speak again, "the one you love will have th power to see the demon too yamato." I didnt want to tell suzette that. "i dont know suzette, i dont know" i said as we got into the truck and drove off.......

I was still trying to figure out what that thing was. So much happened all at once. Was I King Raymond's daughter? It couldn't be. I lived with my mom and dad my whole life. I saw them get killed right in front of me. I saw them get killed by King Raymond's guards when they tried asking if they could be excused for fighting in the war since I was so young. He showed them no mercy and made me watch them get killed. I remember what he told me right after that, "You try not to fight and you'll end up just like them. Dead!" His evil laugh still rung in my head and in my dreams. That was when I ran, that was went I decided I have to avenge their murder.

I also couldn't figure out what that thing was that was haunting me and Yamato and why Charlie couldn't see it. It bothered me so much that there was nothing that seemed to stop it. My arm was hurting from where Yamato had cut me, so I lifted up my sleeve and I saw something that was never there before. It was a mark. It was in the shape of a B. I had no clue what it meant. I wonder if Yamato has the same thing on his arm, I thought to myself as I kept examining it. It burned so much. Like someone had just taken a hot iron to my arm. I touched it gently just once and a sharp pain when through my whole body. It caused me to jump a little. Yamato looked over at me like I was a weirdo or something. I looked away before he could ask me what had just happened.

Charlie kept driving all through the night. When dawn came, we were still in dead forests and no life anywhere. I kept looking out the window trying to figure out where we were but nothing came up in my mind. Then, on the side of the road, I saw something. It was part of a sign. I didn’t know what it said but it was still in tack. I told Charlie to pull over and when she did I got out and ran back to the sign. I picked it up and examined it in my hand. It was sharp but smooth on the surface. It read simply “Boardwalk next right”. I knew what that meant. It meant that Seaside was only a few blocks away. I told Charlie I wanted to go there and see what was left but she refused. As Yamato and Charlie got back in the car, I took off towards the beach. I hadn’t seen the ocean or the sand in 11 years. As I got closer to the broken boardwalk, my arm started to burn again. It only burned one other time before this and it was when I was near Yamato. That meant Yamato was near but when I turned around, the only thing standing there was that creature thing from before.

“Suzette, why do you always run away from everyone?” he asked with a slight chuckled in his voice. He knew I was defenseless; I left my machete in the truck. I tried to run the other direction but this thing followed me. He was everywhere I tried to run.

“What do you want with me!?” I cried in desperation. I had no idea what was going on. I was still so confused about everything that had happened the day before. I tried backing away from this thing but I tried and hit my head on something hard. I blacked out and I still had no idea what was going on.

I woke up in a strange place. I know for a fact I have never seen it before. It was dark and empty. Like I was in a box without any holes. I was chained up and was gagged. I couldn’t move but I felt the pain come back into my arm. That thing was near me again. I tried to move but it was useless.

“Suzette, why do you fuss so much? I promise I won’t kill you… today.” The thing laughed. He continued. “My name is Bedeviler. I’ve been dead for years but invisible to everyone else except you and Yamato. I don’t know why you can see me but all I know is that since you can, you cannot leave here, or else, you’ll be killed.” He came close to me and kissed me on the cheek. “You belong to me know.” He walked away and left me there. What was he going to do to me? What was he going to do to Yamato? I couldn’t take it. I tried to get out but all that happened was a knife came into my side and slowly let the blood drip out of me… I closed my eyes and slowly feel into a deep sleep…

"Seaside, i remember when i was-" i froze. I was talking to Suzette and then she was gone. Where was she? "oh my god, wheres suzette?" Charlie was already starting the engine. "lets go!" she said. We got in her car and sped off. I had no idea where she was. My parents werent answering me, nothing was right. Was this it? did i really lose her? I didnt wanna believe it. I started to cry very softly. She doesnt even know how I feel, and now she'll never know. Suddenly I heard a voice. "Ocean County mall." it was my dad! Thats where she was! The old mall! It wasnt far from seaside either. We went there and it was dark and foggy, but i wasnt leaving without her. "hello Yamato." said BD. "Bedeviler! I'm going to kill you today!" i screamed in anger. "i think not, if I die, the girl dies. and yamato Im not a fool, you love her, its all over you, your feelings are your downfall."

"where is she?" i demanded. He pointed inside. I ran in and Charlie said "I'll handle this asshole." i stopped, "charlie you cant see him."

"i know yamato, but I can kill him i know it" she said. I nodded and ran inside, "SUZETTE!" i screamed, no answer. I searched everywhere and found her in a small dungeon room chained to a wall. I went to free her. She was completely knocked out and bleeding. While freeing her she slowly regained consciousness. "I'm sorry Suzette. Im sorry I wasnt there to save you." "its fine Yamato." and she kissed me on the cheek. She was almost free when I heard a voice "How cute." It was Bedeviler. "wheres charlie?" i asked. "look for yourself," he said. Charlie walked in eyes beaming red just like samurai and suzette. "No..." i said frightened. "you son of a bitch. You killed my family, my dog and almost my friends." I prepared for a battle of a lifetime...

"Yamato NO!" I tried to scream but it only came out as a whisper. I was weak and getting weaker by the second. There was no way that he could beat Charlie. Charlie was naturally strong and, now that she was under Bedeviler's spell, she was even stronger. But Yamato looked determined to fight. He was putting everything on the line to beat this guy.

"It's all over now Yamato. You're going to die just like how you're parents did. Fighting for the one chance to prove themselves and to protect the one you love." Bedeviler’s face turned into a smile. He knew this had just hit a soft spot on Yamato. Yamato's face dropped. He was serious.

"Ok, here's a deal. If I die, you'll have to leave Suzette alone and never ever try to hurt her or go near her again." Yamato wasn't moving. He was ready to fight until the death.

"Fine. But, how about, since you will die, I take Suzette and never come back with her. She'll never love you, and you know that. So why do you continue to love her?" Bedeviler knew what he was doing. He was making Yamato madder than I have ever seen him before. So was that the reason why Bedeviler was using me to get to Yamato because he knew that I could make him weak? Before I knew it, Yamato was attacked Charlie with all his might. He was being cut left and right. Bedeviler walked over to me and unlocked the last chain and pulled me up to his face so that we were eye to eye. "Now you know why I was using you. If you were in danger, Yamato would come running to save your worthless, pathetic life. He loves you and is willing to die for you and you don't even care about him at all. Now isn't a shame that he has to die because of that?" He was now trying to make me feel bad.

"You can't do this. Yamato is going to win. He always does. He's never lost yet." I was trying to hard not to cry. I knew Bedeviler was right but I had to keep my hopes us. Yamato was getting cut badly by Charlie and Charlie really didn’t even have a scratch on her. I had to get them to stop fighting before Charlie killed Yamato. “Bedeviler, what will make them stop fighting? There has to be something.” I was desperate. I was willing to use my life to save his if it came to it.

“Suzette, the only thing that will make them stop fighting is…” he paused and laughed a little “Is if you sacrifice yourself for him. Kill yourself to save him.” He was serious. I knew what I had to do but I was too weak to do it. I had to save Yamato that was the only way.

I gathered my strength and walked over to where the two of them were fighting. I pulled Yamato out of the way just as Charlie threw Bedeviler’s knife. It got me in the arm but I stayed strong. I looked over at Yamato who was bleeding on the ground, breathing heavily and turned around and pulled the knife out of my arm. “This one is for Yamato and my parents!” I screamed as I stabbed Charlie in the stomach. I heard Bedeviler cry in pain and then he disappeared. Charlie fainted in my arms and I pulled the knife out of her. She was back to being her. I held her in my arms until Yamato came to help. Both of them were bleeding badly but it was nothing that we couldn’t handle. I helped Yamato bandage Charlie up and then I helped Yamato bandage himself up.

“You could have killed yourself out there. Why did you pull me back?” he asked. I couldn’t even explain to tell him why I did what I did. I leaned in and gave him a kiss. It wasn’t just any kiss. It was a kiss of love, a kiss of caring. I knew right then and there that I loved Yamato just as much as he loved me.

We stayed in the old mall over night and found some new cloths to wear since our clothes had been cut up in the fighting. Once we all were dressed and ready to go Yamato, Charlie and I all walked out of the mall and found that the truck was gone. Another wonderful day in paradise…

I cant explain how I felt. I was happier than I've ever been. Thoughts raced through my head and believe it or not most of them werent even about Suzette. I knew how to kill Bediviler. I knew what I had to do. I had to take my own life, it was the only way. I looked over at Suzette and smiled and she smiled back. As we walked on the road I grabbed her hand and held it tight, her smile grew wider. I finally had to say it to her, I stopped her, looked straight into her beautiful eyes, kissed her and said it, "Suzette, I know how to kill Bedeviler. I'm going to kill myself. I'm the only thing keeping him alive. And if i die, I'll save you from him. You'll be safe." She started to cry, "Yamato... I love you, and I wont let you do that. But I... I know i cant stop you... But Yamato, theres got to be another way!"

"there isnt. Suzette, your the most amazing girl I've ever met." i said as the tears started to fall. "But its the only way."

Suddenly the wind kicked up extremely fast. I froze and then the pain again. "Bedeviler!!! Suzette, get a safe place, GO! save yourself, theres nothing you can do, he'll kill you too if you are here with me! GO!" she didnt, she knew there ahd to be another way. Before I knew it she was flung to the ground by something, and that something was Bedeviler. I knew this was it. It was kill myself and save Suzette or let this guy kill us both. I held my dagger up over my head, looked at Suzette who was on the ground looking at me crying. "I love you," i said. I drove the sword into my chest. Bedeviler screamed in pain, and he disinigrated "NOOOOOO" he screamed until there was nothing left of him. He was gone. Suzette ran to me, things started to go dark. she kissed me and said, "Yamato, I love you. I love you so much. Please dont die. Please."

I had to get my last sentence out... "I love you too.".... She cried over me for a while. "Its not your time Yamato, Suzette needs you," a voice said, it was my mom. I woke up and saw Suzette crying. "Suzette..." She gasped. "Yamato? Your... alive?"

I nodded, I was in pain but alive. How? Was I really that special? I said the only thing that came to mind. "Suzette, I'm alive, but your holding me, so I'm still in heaven." She smiled and kissed me...

**not so much an ending, more like a new begining, me and sweetsuicide have more we wann do in this thing, sorry about bedeviler, he was the bad guy and he had to die, ya know? make a new dude, an even more badass dude, and btw im sorry about justin (softsilentdeath) hes a little crazy, hes been my best friend since we were 10 lol**

ok, I officially declare this the end of part 1 of this story. Let me put it this way, if this were a movie, the sequel would start now. I want the storyline of the next part to be about Suzette's and Charlie's fight against king raymond. But of course theres got to be that little side story between Yamato and Suzette thats developing. Bedeviler is dead, so we need an even worse enemy to fight. Possibly a right hand man of the king with some mystical power to him like bedeviler. This first part was amazing and it was done by just 4 people who arent professional writers who (except for me and sweet suicide lol) dont even know eachother at a personal level.

Wow! You guys have been busy. I'm gonna do some back story on Charlie so take it and use it how you guys want. This will help wiht the fight with King Raymond. Poor tinkles


It was still hard driving, the wound in Charlie's stomach was deep but it did not hit any vitals. "I gotta stop for the night guys." She slurred. " Are you all right?" Suzette asked. "Hmm... Yeah I'll live you cut me pretty deep." Suddenly there was a loud gong sound. Suzette turned to see Yamato holding his head. Charlie was smiling widely holding her frying pan. "Why'd you hit me?" Yamato asked. "This wound is your fault kiddo." "What are you talking about you crazy oldlady!"Yamato yelled. "Old am I?" Charle said while swinging her frying pan. "Umm.... ahh. wha..." Yamato stammered. "Our fight, I may not have been able to control my body but I could see everything that was happening," Charlie declared. You should have been able to beat me." "Starting tommorow I'm training you, You have some skill so it shouldn't take long." Charlie said. She grabbed some gear out of the back of the truck."We're camping out tonight, sorry only have two sleeping bags you guys will just have to share" Charlie said teasingly.

"Tell us Charlie." Suzette said bluntly."hmmm" Charlie dragged on her cigarette. " I guess I might as well". "11 years ago we all know what happened, You guys were what 8, 9 years old. I was fifteen. Old enough to fight in the resistance. I saw things that drove some people crazy. We knew we had lost the war and most of the resistance fighters ran and tried to pick up what was left of their lives. Life? THere was nothing left for me. My Mom and sister were dead. The friends I had known all died in the war. That is when I met him. A Tall handsome man with long flowing dark hair. He was beautiful to look at. He offered me shelter and food. His home was undamaged by the war or should I say castle. It was huge. For two weeks I lived there not knowing where I was or who the man was. I was summoned to see the master of the house. He sat there in all his beauty but his eyes were cold and devious. "I've let you stay here Charlene even though you are infact a part of the resistance. It is your beauty child that I desire". THe man sneered. I am King Raymond first ruler of the new world". My heart jumped and started pounding with fear. "Calm yourself child, I have no need to kill you, but I do have a use for you." King Raymond laughed. I wont go into detail here kids but I will say that King Raymond is a bastard and he used me for his own sick twisted games and desires. I tried 7 times to escape but to no avail. Finally he just let me go. He said"Is freedom what you really want my dear, here in my castle you want for nothing and are prized first amongst all the other women, but you look at me with fear. I have never caused you injury in fact I'm quite fond of you." " Well if that is truly your wish then you are free to leave."

I packed up only a few of my belongings that I would need. I left all of lavish clothing and trinkets. I did not just walk out the door I ran. I was out, free I could finally escape. I had no other skills other then fighting so I made my living as abounty hunter. I would turn in lowlifes and theives to King Raymond's men but I never had to see his face again. You see If I saw him again I don't know if I'd kill him or fall into his arms. He has to die. For all the unspeakalbe things he did to this world and so I can go on with whats left of my dignity and pride."

Suzette and Yamato didn't speak. What could they say. The threesome simply sat there and stared at the fire. Dawn came quickly after that, Suzette had a plan!
