Evangelion: Sachiel W.I.P.

Hey guys and girls.
I'm currently working on a series of really short live action movies based on Evangelion.
You can see my first video HERE

The next one will be with the 3rd angel: Sachiel.
Here's a pic from the anime in case you don't know what sachiel looks like.

So I thought I'd post updates on my progress as I went. Hopefully some of you will find it interesting or useful.

Here's where I'm at right now:

This is the base mesh that I will take into zbrush for detailing and texturing.
It's still at a very early stage!
I did change the design a little bit, especially in those goofy lookin shoulder things.

If anyone has any suggestions for the overall project let me know!
Feel free to ask any questions too.

That's great Kitagawa, so are you going to make another video like that one with Ramiel?

yup, that's the plan. Maybe a little longer this time though.
And hopefully with more special effects.

yeah. i've been modeling for about 5 years now.

Wow, so you probably quite good at it now, can you do something like Mounty Oum's Dead Fantasy? That would be awesome!

haha, I dunno if I have the motivation for that kinda project.
That guy has some serious dedication to his work.

I'd rather stick to the 30 second clips lol.

Yeah, it probably takes a lot of time, haha, so what you're going to do with Sachiel?

hmmm, not sure yet.
Probably destroy some buildings, blow some shit up.
you know... just usual day to day activities for a giant monster.
