It looks to be a medallion from a souvenir key holder.
It isn`t of Mt. Fuji, but of the area around Mt. Bandai in Fukushima - mostly noting points of tourism (hot springs, castle, etc)

The line "road" is the train line, and the points are the stations.
The picture on the front is of Byakkotai - a somewhat famous small samurai group. There was a tv show on about them in the mid-80s, which brought a boom of tourism to the area... So chances are the medal is from after that.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

apolinario, you have gotten your explanation from Nyororin. Please do not make additional threads on the same topic.

I`m willing to bet pretty much anything that it is nothing more than a souvenir key holder from sometime in the last 20 years. No treasure, no amazing history, and no value. It`s the type of thing they sell in souvenir shops at hotels, train stations, and along the expressway.
There is nothing amazing written on it - just Byakkotai (a tourism attraction of sorts) on the front, and the names of hot springs, train stations, and the like on the back. Nothing to "translate".

In other words, this is nothing to get excited about. You can probably still find the same thing being sold in that area.

It looks Fuji.. Very nice either way and I'm sure will be a nice addition to your collection box.

You might want to read the other replies that show it is not Fuji before replying...
