Is Japan All Its Made Up To Be???? -

hiya's!im rachelle and i have a dream of being a tokyo correspondent of ANIME INSIDER. and its also been my dream to go to japan and live there. ive heard lots of pros and cons, but thats only from the americans. can anyone help enlighten me on this subject?

Yeah, Japan is awesome.
Pro's and cons? Well, you'll never come acrosss a seedier section of metropolis than roppongi, I swear I thought i was hearing things when 100 Aussie accents hollered "tit's and beer guys!" at us from 100 yards out. Nakano is fanboy/girl heaven with so much collectable shit I always wish I brought another suitcase with me. Shinjuku is an ace night out if you don't fancy roppongi, Darts bar's are the shit - generally, the Japanese suck at 501 but I never won a single game of cricket  Other than that, people disappear, get killed, shot, stabbed etc etc much like every other country - the difference is not a lot of Japanese people speak english and it can feel pretty isolating sometimes. But its like any place, it's what YOU make of it - so do the deed and book a plane ticket.

It doesnt mean he doesnt like Japan that much, he's just being honest about what goes on in Japan. (like in any country.)
Some people make Japan out to be some amazing, perfect place (and someone even said that theres no crime because everyone respects each other..) but bad stuff obviously happens there.  There was a news story last year about a foreign girl who got murdered in Japan..but dont let that put you off x]

If I didn't I'd be hard pushed to justify why I want to live there with my girlfriend! I'm just savvy enough to know that not everyone likes the same stuff as much as me - I give every aspect, opinion and idea the benefit of the doubt - I'm a well rounded individual like that
