Post Your Purikura!

So I searched around and what I found were some user generated purikura pic threads, so it was suggested (RealJames!) that there should be a legit purikura thread. So if you're from/been to/are in Japan and have REAL Purikura pics, post them up here!

I am linking all these from facebook, if they don't show I'll have to move them...

This one isn't actually purikura, but it's right in front of the machine, I thought it might be interesting for those who've never seen one.

All the following ones are from my gf's birthday last year and this year.

Well... I foundthat Purikura thing... quite creepy :bigears:

Anyway, i've never been good with that kind of cute or romantic stuff... Well, that could be one of the reasons why my relationships last for 1 month... maximum... :)

Purikura is totally weird, but it's one of those things that EVRERYONE does, so you kind of just stop caring what people think. There are a lot of guys I know who think doing purikura questions their masculinity, but they're just missing out on some really fun moments with their friends. :D

There's a lot of stuff like that in Japan, though. Like I would never seek out a place to do karaoke back home, but it seems like I frequent those joints all the time now since it's just a good social thing to get my friends together and have some fun!

yeah now that you mention karaoke, it seems to be an inseparable set with purikura for the younger generation.
everyone does karaoke, any age, it's weird and funny and cool all at once

Same here.

I mean, what's with the EYES?!

Seriously. It looks like you've been sniffing crack right up your nose and straight to your brain, and you're totally high and wasted like, going into trance. Creepy, indeed.

Like, cute little Hello Kitty-loving children on serious drugs.

that would be the best way to describe popular culture in Japan...
It's a little surprising for me to see anyone saying that in a place called JapanForum.com lol

Whoa. O.o

WingsToDiscovery, those eyes, man... they look through you, into your soul... and then your soul gets creeped out, too. O.O
Well, anyways...
I've always wanted to try Purikura, and I hope to if I ever get to Japan!
