Unusual Kanji - Gotta Have It - 09-10-2007, 10:34 PM

Hi everyone, we are always looking for unique and unusual Kanji.

If you have something interesting we would like to know about it - might even turn it into a necklace.

Here are just a couple of unique requests - every couple of days we get some really wack stuff - last week we had a person wanting a Kanji necklace saying 'Trauma'.

Mucho gracias (oops - wrong forum)

What do you mean by 'unusual and unique kanji'? I'm Japanese and I know a couple of thousand kanji, but I have no idea which ones are unusual or unique. Could you define that a little more clearly?

Of the four examples you have displayed, the one on far right isn't even written in kanji. It's in hiragana.

And the second one from far right doesn't mean anything even remotely close to 'compassionate dragon'. It means 'trend of the times'

You totally pwned GoKanji. Dude, I never even SAY "pwn" this is a total burn.

Anyway, I think GoKanji is trying to say kanji that you think may be fun to write or that has many strokes or what you find appealing.

Thanks for reading!

I am confused. You are looking for rare kanji? I am not sure what that means.
