Yes, I wish that we, as Americans, could find a better balance between being so obbsessed with sex, yet so terrified of it as well. The worst here is the "Bratz" line of merch; they are like a very skanky Barbie. The other extreme is the infantilizing of girls with grown women dressing and acting like teens. I am a little sensitive about this, as my daughter is now 3.

my problem with style in america is that it is so standard. the only thing you see people wearing are jeans and a t-shirt. it would be nice if people could wear more colorful personalized clothing with out being considered weird, because it seems like everyone matches right now

Lol. . . In my opinion, and at least for girls, anyway, the best clothing are for children.
 I would like to have an outfit cute as those for my size. XD Sadly, I'm a teen, not a kid. x]The Si Shu Non and Biquette are totally cute! I love the examples of Si Shu Non.
