Special needs kids in Japan

What would you like to know, specifically?

My son is 3, non-verbal, and the doctors are tentatively telling us he is somewhere on the spectrum. My husband is also supposedly on the spectrum.

I'm going to a summer camp for disabled kids this August. Do you know Aska? I'm a little nervous though. Sometimes I don't know how to respond to kids with special needs and not being fluent in Nihongo is not going to help.

I don't live in japan, nor have I ever been there (BUT I WANT TO!!), but I am on the autistic spectrum and I have helped my aunt care for my younger cousin, who is also on the spectrum. I have asperger's, and my cousin has mid-functioning autism. I can probably help with some questions about autism.
