How? I'm not really sure, Thunda and ivon are right though, when your with that person you really like you seem to change around them. You start to get a feeling of what that person is all about, you start to pick up habbits that you thought you would never in your life do. You'll know when they mean it and when they don't cause you know them, what they like, what they hate.
I know when I do something really bad and I feel guilty I blow all my money on things she likes, even though I know it won't make up for my actions I still try. Even if theres only a slight chance she will take me back XD.

but i will tell you some stuff to know if he isnt truly inlove with you

First of all love is not really connected to sex, if he makes love an excuse for it he fails and i warn you to be careful, even if you have done it a hundred times with different guys in a serious relationship love is lousy excuse for it.

2nd dont mistake gentlemanly manners for his love. its common sense to act like it front of the guy's gf. Opening doors, carrying your stuff, meeting your parents and cheering you on is his common sense working not his heart

3rd if he isnt comfortable with you in public places or if he cant risk switching phones with you he is definitely hiding somethin
