That's really nice to read, Misa! We are already living in a very shallow world and it's not getting better. It's good to know that not everyone is that superficial nowadays. Of course it's okay to have specific preferences but if you sort everybody out who doesn't fit in, you may miss your true love. I personally don't care if a girl is taller or shorter than me. I don't care if she is bigger or slimmer than me. In the end, it comes down to emotions. The body withers with the time but your emotions will last forever.

This is what iv always thought i dont think iv ever met a girl that said she wanted a guy shorter than her. Im tall so iv never had to experience that to meet a girl taller than me would be a rare site. Would I date a girl taller than me absolutely.

I have a preference for tall men. I wouldn't like dating someone shorter than me, but in no case does it mean that would stop me from having a relationship with a short guy if I really liked him.

Additional information:

Average height of Japanese men and women:

Men: 170cm / ~5'5"
Women: 158cm / ~5'2"

That's about 10 cm shorter than the average height of Westerners.
