Romance Anyone? - 08-28-2008, 09:09 AM

Just to reminisce all the good times I've had in my relationships~

Like the time my girlfriend got extremely upset over something regarding her family.
I immediately drove over too her house (I think i skipped work that day xD) too try and comfort her.
Eventually I believed I took her for a ride for a few hours, met a few people and chatted until she cheered up a bit.
When we got back, we started hugging each other on the front porch...
It was at that time that I decided too pull out my cell phone and started too play Eyes On Me from FFVIII and did a little waltz with her too the music x]

I know, SUPER DORKY, but... meh, I thought it was kinda romantic (though she found it comedic) and a memorable moment~

Anyway, share your romantic experiences. Any special things you've done for your lover or your lover has done for you. Any moments that you would like too share. Please, keep it too couples only xD
Sorry too the singles out there, maybe someday...
Just someday.... you'll be as awesome a dork as I am ^_^

Ah. Regardless of what I think of relationships, and the view people think of me, I have done some romantic things in my relationships too.

Last year, on mine and my girlfriend's anniversary of getting together (A small thing, but important), I told my girlfriend that I was busy (She didn't even remember it was our anniversary), and that I couldn't see her that day.

Anyways, I brought some of my friends together, and gave them money and told them to buy a different bunch of flowers each. I told two of my friends to focus on Daffodils and red roses. (Since my fav are Daffodils, and my ex's fav was Red roses) They gathered all the flowers up and went to the place where I first met, and asked my GF out for a drink, which soon after became a relationship. Which was at a bench, in a nearby park.

After they were in place, I went a picked up my GF who was confused at seeing me, and I took her to the bench, which my friends had all waited until I was near and then left all the flowers for us. I told her what the day was, and then I showed her all the flowers.

That's basically it though.

Let's say she didn't expect it from me, apparently she was thinking of breaking up with me, because she thought I didn't have it in me to be romantic.

ouch.....
if i did something like that w/ my girl....
she'd find it really corny and funny, would laugh about it
but she'd definitely appreciate the thought xD

Its amazing how being a dork at the right moment really works on us.

As I was reading Yuujiro's I was thinking "wow, I never thought he would be that cheezy!" UNTIL..... you mentioned waltzing with her. That works!

Most guys have the capability of being romantic, but getting past the testosterone and triggering the impulse for it can be nearly impossible at times.

Salvanas, you aren't the only one people have doubted their potential for romance. Depending on where we've met, I have discovered a few people were totally shocked when they encountered that side of me.

Only an open mind and open heart can be filled with life.
