This is also the same law that dictates, in similar situations you find yourself in, that radios will play nothing but love songs the moment you break up with your significant other.

I personally that god is not punishing anyone for being songle, cause really it's up to us as individuals to decide on what we want out of life etc.
I would say though that it does suck sometimes to see peoiple around making out when your single, but if you wait it out long enough then eventually someone speical will come along (as others on this topic have mentioned).
