How much do you care about looks?

It seems like everyone wants a model, or a person who has the same kind of "look" that they do... but how much of a chance do you give to a guy / girl who might like you, but doesn't look like your dream guy / girl?

I dunno why I'm even posting this... but it seems like us guys who don't look like a jonas brother don't get much love noawadays.

So, tell me how you feel on the subject. Maybe I'll even post my pic so you can let me know what you think. I def don't look like Hideki-kun either, but I'd love to find myself a Chii! lol

I think looks are important in a relationship, it isn't the only important thing and not the most important, but it still matters.

I mean, I can't feel attracted to an ugly girl, but I can't stand an annoying or stupid girl either so I guess balance is the most important thing. She doesn't need to be a princess or a model, just pretty, and she doesn't need to be a genius, just smart, nice etc.

As for my looks, I'm not confident with it, but I try to not think too much about it, I was born like this so there's nothing I can do, right?

When I go out I don't think the girls pay too much attention to me, not really, but they don't ignore me completely either, so I guess I'm just average.

I agree with TLF, there needs to be a balance and thats what matters, as for what I think, I beleive I'm a damn stud. Confidence will get you far my friends.

If I dated a guy that looked like he was from the Jonas Brothers, I'd probably be arrested for statutory rape.

Appearance matters. What can I say? I was raised in a shallow community. At first glance, I judge people based on their looks. Then, when they open their mouth, my attraction might change. If they look good but are an asshole, I won't be attracted anymore. If they look average, even less than average, but are funny and smart, etc., then I'll be attracted.

Everyone cares about looks to some extent. People who claim they don't care about looks AT ALL must not be human, because everyone wants an attractive partner - you don't wanna make out with someone you think is totally repulsive.

Obviously I want someone I'm attracted to physically, but as the guys said above personality is really important too.

Oh, yeah I didn't pay attention to this part, well I'm not really interested in girls who have the same kind of look that I do, if she has it's okay, if she's not, it's okay too, it doesn't matter as long she's pretty and has also an interesting personality.

@Quail: You're right, confidence is very important, I already saw a lot of guys, some of them very ugly, but they just do well because they're so confident, arrogant, actually. A big ego really helps you in this case and also if you want to be the lead singer in a rock'n'roll band ^_^

TLF: I dont try to have a big ego, I just talk, I mean..I might be ocky but Its not the big ass jock kind of cocky.

Unless you have good genes, looks eventually go....
