I dated outside my race lots of times. Well the first time I dated a spanish guy but he was born and raised in the US so we didn't have too much of a culture difference. Just that his family spoke spanish. But I was friends with him for years before we started dating and at the time I was fluent in spanish so it was fine. It didn't work out because of him though. He was not a very good boyfriend. But I hear he's in a new relationship and he's treating her well so I'm happy to hear he grew up.

I dated this japanese guy and that was another good relationship but short because right when things picked up I moved to Korea.

So now i'm dating another Japanese guy and he's also great. I think i'm in love but it's a little too soon to tell. He even flew to Japan to visit me just for one day. He came, spend one day and left on the third day. And those were the best days of my life!

SO all in all I think most of it has to do with the people around you. Because the people in the relatioship oviously have no problems with race but their families might not agree and that can destroy a relationship.

^ I can definatly relate to that! hahah there's a lot of black on black racism like esp. between the shades of black like "She think she's cute because she's light skinned or she's pretty for a dark skinned girl"! Personally, I'm fair skinned but I like all types of shades of black ! But if you're a black guy dating a white girl then you get the whole "why do the white girls take up all the good black men" or strange looks! Or if you're a black girl dating someone outside your race then you get licks or dumb comments . I also have a thing for asian persuasion which is unusual for a "stereotypical black girl", but hey I like what I like and have no remorse about it In the end, if you're happy with that person that's all that matters!

All races are great, you just have to find what you like within that person. I love asian guys, but it doesn't mean if I met a white guy or some other race that blew me away I wouldn't go out with him just because of his skin colour...but I still think Filipino and Japanese are the hotest!

i dated a white guy once( he was a a*****e but thats not the point, and i'm chinese, infact you get alot of chinese-white relationships here in england.

UK is still behind on the balck asian thing because most asian people warn you not to get involved with black. pretty racist i know.

i'm white and my ex-boyfriend was white and mexican, but every assumed he was just mexican. and because of the assumption, a few of people at my school thought "ew, a mexican? he's only with you because you're white." but in all, race was never an issue in our relationship. we were together 2 1/2 years off and on.

however, i'm currently on the market for a sweet asian boy with a mysterious side who will call me 'love'. lol [inside joke...kinda]
