for me being in a relationship is just sharing your life with someone who is dearly and specail to you.
about the being whole thing....
well... everyone is!
your boy or girlfriend is just a next chapter in your life..
it fills up your memorie and heart.. and the only thing you can think about is your love..
and somethimes it last or you guys break up..

when you are broken up with someone you just miss something
it can be the feeling of love, the feeling of being save..
it's different for everyone but it doens't make you incompleet!

right now i'm despiratly in love with my boyfriend
and if this ends i sure will end up crying and have a feeling of losing something.
but next to the crying stuff i stil will be the same as always...
the only differentss.... i would be single..

well this is my few on the relation part thing..
hope you understand it a little

I guess the point of relationships is none.It always ends and in the end what it was?Nothing. But people were programmed to want relationships.

I think it's because of your hormones that people would perhaps want relationships.

They are pointless, if I want a relationship i'll get one when I want to settle down and have kids at like...40 odd years old. My youth should be enjoyed with sex, booze and football, with no one in my way.

Yeah! I feel the same as well, what the point of having a relationship asthough, but the thing is people don't even need to thing about the point before having a relationship. It is a natural survival thing to have the right to pass your genectic inheritance to the off-spring .

My opinion on what the point is on having a relationship is beeing temperarily happy, when you first enter a girlfriend/boyfriend, boyfriend/boyfriend or girlfriend/girlfriend relationship theres sparks, your exstatic 24/7 and you miss the person at all times and it's exciting just sitting by the person, this fades either way you break up or stay together, that "feeling" cannot stay forever.

If you break up its usually because of different view's on subjects and values or its an impulse-breakup, wich is just silly.

And if you stay together the feeling will also fade away, but when that fades away, your feel of stability and trust to this special someone strengthn's and you can let the person into your life and your thoughts.

Every relationship you get in either its for life or for a week(funny) it's not a total waste, you always learn something about yourself, either it's physical or pshycological. You learn how you would respond to different subject that you may have talked about or that the partner didn't bring up wich you think would be appropriate and you may gain values and become stronger cause now you are a step forward to knowing youself in every angle possible (bit cheesy but true)
