So the question is as you read in the topic. How old is someone before its too much difference to date/go out/married etc.
two forms to this, in younger years and in older years.
and please, speak your mind, not what society dictates what is rightfuly morale. ^^

examples needed?

• if the girls 16 and the guys 22
• if the guys 16, the girls 22
• if the girls 22, the guys 30
• if the guys 22, the girls 30
• does it make a difference if they're gay/lesbian? etc...

when i was 16 i went out with a 20 year old boy.
turned out i was the more mature one of the relationship. tosser he was.


basicly depends on the people; so long as both are consenting adults in the eyes of the law (of the counrty they're in etc) and are emotionally stable enough

eg: my housemate who turned 21 yesterday was going out with a 31 year old lady.

i think society gen. looks at guys dating younger girls as a bit pervy, but an older lady with a young boy just has a "boy-toy"

yeah thats ok, well thats my opinion anyway, but the ones that kudo listed...im not sure, i guess its ok if the guy is older cause he might have hade some time to mature whereas the women would already be mature.

i think thats totally ok.
i used to think that when you're younger a 4yr difference was ok. but hey, certain cases can exempt to 6yrs? i dunno. my ex was a year younger then me, thats the youngest i've dated.

here in canada, a 20yr old can go out with a 14yr old if the younger person is willing. legislation has been trying to move it to 16 lately, but nothing new has come up yet. anything younger then 14...lolipedo!!!

sorry for my mistaken, philippines the legal age for females is 18. the legal age for males is 21
