Forum Junkie Day!

What's Forum Junkie Day you ask? Well it's simple it really doesn't exist! Yet...

I think we should have a Forum Junkie Day, a day when as many members get on as possible and post as much as possible. How would you get so many members on? Well I'll tell you...

You hold a poll for a some set dates (that the Admin or the Mods think are the best choices) and people vote which day they'll most likely be able to be on... Of course these dates would also need to be dates were all the Mods could be on also... Because tons of spam....

So how about it? Good idea? or not?

A bunch of members posting as much as possible? About what? If there isn't a topic/discussion to go along with this "Junkie Day" then it will just result in a bunch of spam.

I understand your intentions, but make sure the method is clear, or it'll backfire.

Okay, then i'll clearify more... ^.^; Okay... It's easy the topic you discuss in is in all the ones that exists... I thought that would of been obvious... So they don't spam they just need to post in all the topics that exist and post as much in as many topics as possible... Now I know there will be a bunch of spammers and that's why I said that you need to have as many mods on in that day... Heck if you really wanted to you could have Temp. Mods (Mods that you only make a moderator for that specific day) But then you moderators and the admin would have to find the ones good enough for the job... ^.^; So does that clearify some things up?

What's the point? Posting just for the point of posting as much as possible? I don't see any other term how to describe other than just mass spamming... i would definitely not want to be a mod during such scenario.

That's a neat idea.....but I'll feel sorry for the mods.....It's bad enough that they have to try and maintain the forum as spam free as possible, but to actually have them watch over a ton of people at the same time is definitely a handful.....But still I like the idea.
