.png and .gif work, I use .png all the time because the quality is ultimate.

if you want to make and use your own ava's i found that uploading them to photobucket really does the trick i tried loading them from my own computer and it wouldnt let me so i uploaded them to photobucket and it did

yea, your right there should be a sign saying invalid img type and things like that, ones that get a bit more specific.

and who the heck is eki and why would you die over not knowing whether he's a boy or girl?
