Should there be a information on person's sex in their account information?

We DEFINATELY need a gender information in the profiles. I get confused every day. Most recenlty, I found out Nightmare was a guy, until then thinking he was a girl. Another day I saw someone who thought carry was a guy. It would be much easier to have this kind of information in the profile

I think it'd be nice to know others genders. It sometimes feels awkward trying to address someone when saying their username or 'they' all the time. ^^;

Well, i guess i should have made different options:
op1: Yes
op2: YES!
op3: Yes goddammit, screw perverts!

But everyone has his own reasons for doing so, i only wish that there would be someone who woted "No" and gave an argument or two, why there should not be such an optional... erm... option (i guess i need to expand my english vocabulary, lol)

no there is not 8 major perverts if you read what is in the poll it does not mention anything about optional. it says yes or no should a person sex information be located for public veiw. some one who voted no like my self did so based on the fact that people should have the option of displaying person data. the way the topic is worded says that it should be required and nothing should be required for others to see. your 8 nos are more then likely because of this reason poor wording lead to those votes and there only one major pervert Here and it is me =)

Well I think that the option of not showing any information about yourself should be considered too, but who would wanna lie about their gender...? I mean, it's true that you should be able to hide this kind of information, but we should have the right to make it public so that it doesn't lead to confusions.
