Should there be a information on person's sex in their account information?

Have you ever wondered is it she or him when replying to a thread? I have! And sometimes it is quite important in order to avoid inconvenient situations, don't you think? So, should there be a optional checkerbox to show what sex you are in the profile page here at JF?

well, it is nice to know one's gender. I don't wanna get yelled at for saying Mr. when it's a Ms.

people sometimes prefer to be more anonomous (im ok with letting people know my gender) but hey.
i wouldnt worry about the mr/mrs thing, id use their login name to address them:p
each to their own though

Well, i'm suggesting a optional choice, you don't have to show what gender u are, if you don't want to. But anyway, i just don't understand, why anyone would want to hide his gender :P

Yes because so many times had i been afriad to say he/she when acting out something because i don't know who's a guy or girl.....plus, i don't wanna be called a guy.....it makes me sad.....*cries*

We DEFINATELY need a gender information in the profiles. I get confused every day. Most recenlty, I found out Nightmare was a guy, until then thinking he was a girl. Another day I saw someone who thought carry was a guy. It would be much easier to have this kind of information in the profile
