I understand that thread is about the best Japanese survival horror game, but still, I'm quite disappointed that the father of survival horror games - Alone in the Dark isn't included in the poll.

Each have their advantages and disadvantages (except Siren, I hate it), but I'll go for the game that scared me most - Silent Hill.
