but for many hotels, they seem to have the same thing. Seems kind of strange. I did a Google search and forum search and didn't come across any info.
another thing, a lot of business hotels have a reverse curfew, you have to be out by 8 or 9 and cant get back in till 4-5pm!

At the last business hotel I stayed at in Asakusa there were no curfews or leave times, except for final check out at 11:00 AM. I had to leave my key at the front desk whenever I left, but it was staffed 24/7.
