What are your favorite ANIME and MANGA (both or either) that came out this year. (So I wouldn't put, say Akira, because there weren't any Akira releases this year...but I could say Death Note, as it wasn't started this year, but continued this year.)

Cool...another MPD Psycho fan...

For 2007 it was Haruhi suzumiya9 which i actualy started watching in 2006) and Lucky star and now i am currently watching Minami-ke which is great (i dont watch lots of anime, i can complete a maximum of 3 in a year, not more than that). These days i'm more into J-dramas :D

I haven't seen Haruhi, but it is a huge hit, huh?

It combines the whitty humor found in animes like Kanon (main characters ave the same voice actor, actualy) and Air with a sci-fi edge, and also a bit of ecchi comedy as well. As for what catagory to put it in? Sci-fi-comedy-action with a little romance ^_^

My Favourite

and the funniest comedy would be Lucky Star, Minami-ke & Bamboo Blade!

the best romance would be Ef- Tale of memories

the best action would be Karas or Darker than black? NO, IT's BACCANO!

the best Sci-fi would be Ghost Hound & Dennou Coil

Rozen Maiden Rozen Maiden is luff~. Suiseiseki is win... and Desu.
Welcome to the NHK is amazing. The novel version is even better. NHK is just an amazing series. It's odd and out there, but it hits home on a few things for me. It tackles the subject of Hikkikomori and Hentai and Ero-Games and Loli-con and *rattles on* in just an amazing way. It's hillarious to read~ Satou's emotions are amazing.

Anime :

CLANNAD I don't think this really needs a real explination. xD
Ef - A Tale of Memories This is amazing me with every episode. Man, to think it'll be finished soon!
Sketchbook ~full color'S~ I like how it's very relaxing. Though people may not like it because of that, I enjoy relaxing to an anime sometimes. Also, Sora reminds me of myself, since I used to be/sometimes still am very quiet and barely talk to other people. And, of course, I like to draw, so I enjoy to want Sora and her friends in art club go on adventures to draw things.

I only read the first volume of Welcome to the NHK, but I had a hard time getting into it.

Manga: HunterXHunter, 20th Century Boys and Detective Conan.

Anime: None.

I am not sure if it was of that year but Montecristo was awesome.:vsign:
