Any Anime Music Recommendations?
 

I did some looking at previous threads this time and did not find one like this, so I hope it is, in fact, the first.
I found a web site, Gendou's Anime Music, that has anime music (obviously). I hardly know anime (at least that I remember), so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

Yes, thank you. Fullmetal Alchemist has some good music, but there are a few... oddly depressing lines out there...

Wolf's Rain has a nice soundtrack.
Ghost in the Shell if you like more techno stuff.

anything from UVERworld, or asian kung-fu generation. also, "asterisk" by orange range, from bleach.

Try Blood Stain Child for techno/metal/screamo
and Gazette! lol

AKB4 they are pretty good lol.

The Death Note soundtracks are pretty good. Another set of soundtracks I suggest are the ones for Hellsing; Raid and Ruins. Also give the Cowboy Bebop soundtracks a try.

I don't know if you're a shonen or a shojo or what type of manga/anime person you are :confused: , but anyways:

Prince of Tennis -- pretty good rock vibe, shonen-type
Fullmoon Wo Sagashite --somewhat more of a pop vibe, shojo-type

Also can I suggest maybe visiting the iTunes World Section? They have pretty good J-Pop if you can't seem to find anything. :vsign:

Wolf's Rain and if you enjoy something in a soft classical relaxing sense try finding "Tezuka World" performed by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra.

I like FLCl soundtrack and Last exile is mainly instrumental but it's good.

"Welcome to the NHK" has a lot of really good music. I love the opening song, "puzzle" from Round Table. Also, "Hayate Combat Butler" has some pretty catchy j-pop for opening and ending songs including songs from KOTOKO. Maaya Sakamoto has contrbuted some good songs for various anime including the opeing songs of "Escaflowne" and "Rahxephon" and one of the ending songs of "Wolf's Rain". I love her voice.

It depends what kind of music you want. There have been three anime soundtracks that I have fully enjoyed and purchased:
