I'd rather someone who utilizes their weapons with skill, and/or both guns and swords, like Dante from Devil May Cry.

Love Swords.
It makes for a much more artistic anime. Besides, fights are way cooler and it's more about skill and strenght thank aim and luck. my single exceptions Vash from Trigun and dante from devil may cry. he seems popular on this thread. lol. |

IMO, whether or not it's a "Sword anime" or a "Gun anime", is pretty irrelevant. If the series has a boring or uninteresting storyline or plot to me, then I won't watch it.

Definitely swords. How can you choose guns after seeing the skills that Kenshin displays?? You can't!

Just as long as no one here decides to bring a gun to a swordfight or a sword to a gunfight, all should be good
getting back on topic, I'd say a mixture... plus it also depends on the anime. If the hero uses a sword, then I like swords; if guns, then I like guns in that case either way, they're both fun weapons |
