Manga. I can understand the story better if I read it myself.
i guess it kinda depends on the series...like to me, most anime is better cuz of the animation stuff but some series(like furuba) is better in the manga! :p

I purrfur Anime over manga
It depends on a lot of things. For example, in terms of simple story, I liked the first season of Magic Knight Rayearth better as portrayed by the anime rather than the manga; the manga was short-paced and didn't take much time to appreciate the world of Cephiro. As far as Part II, the manga was certainly better.
There's also the fact that not all anime began with manga, and sometimes the process happened in reverse. |

I am one of those that say "The book is better than the movie" whether manga that has been turned into anime or novels that have seen the big screen I prefer to read them.
Don't get me wrong I love Anime, but I prefer to read the original work at its finest art. I find it more rewarding viewing the orginal art by the author than their animated counterparts. Except maybe with Outlaw Star...I think I prefered the anime.:D |
i like anime, but i think manga is alot better because of art and some other things.
for about half a year ago i would have said anime for sure but recently i have been reading mangas and frankly i love them.
I like reading manga better. But, I absolutely LOVE to see the characters in action. If they can do what the manga did in the anime, it's good. But if the story's not the same...aaah, it's a tough choice.
hard to choose cause there are some series where i like the anime but don't like the manga and vice versa. most of the time i like both though.
