I've seen the whole thing and I really liked it. A 2nd season is on the way, It may be out this autumn and if not maybe in summer 2008.

I have the first 2 DVDs, and the third is out now. I like this series; hardest part is avoiding spoilers, 'cause so many people want to talk about it.

i have to know when the second season is coming out it's like one of the best anime i've ever seen it's great. i even downloaded the soundtrack w/ the voice tracks for it. i'm even using it for my first amv.

I can't wait for season 2.

The melancholy of harhui suzumiya is about a girl(haruhi) who has the power to change the world. Basically the world revolves around her and what she wants she gets no matter how abnormal it is. But she doesn't know it. She starts a school club called the SOS Brigade and grabs some random members. They have the average school life...or at least she does, while the other members notice everything that is going on etc...

Kind of hard for me to explain xD But yes it's interesting, funny, and all

Sort of like...Kanon?(best series ever) :P

Anyways awesome series must see!

haruhi is a little hard to explaid but u got it somewhat. she doesn't really know that the world works based upon her moods. and the friends she makes and brings into the club she doesn't really know about their powers or who they really are or why they are there all she cares about is that they fit the descrtion of what she believes they should be to be an esper alien etc. this series is by far my favorite. i mean for some people it might seems a little confusing but if u stick w/ it then u will understand it and its just hilarious.

i like it!
but it can get a tad annoying at times~ i gues it really depends on what ur into.... altho this show does cater for almost everyone!!
