My fave Shinigami is definitely Ryuk!! He's beyone smexy!!!

I'm going to go with DN. I've seen all of Descendants of Darkness, and only a couple episodes of Bleach, and I must say, Death Note definitely shows the way a God of Death should look. When I imagine a Shinigami, I imagine something that you would see in Death Note. A Grim Reaper type figure, something that looks dead, but alive at the same time. I don't imagine something that looks human, or has a human shape. The Shinigamis in Death Note look like they bring death where ever they go. I don't get that feeling when watching Bleach or Descendants of Darkness. |

It was a close call between deathnote and bleach, but in the end I guess I had to vote for Bleach. Ryuk is great, in fact my favourite shinigami in death note, but him and his pals looked so dumb :eek:. They didn't know much about the human world. They thought humans were fun and they simply fed on human life to extend their own. In their own dimension they were a bunch of lazy beings playing poker for survival.
Repulsive as they looked and given the fact that they had the deathnote to bring death they still didn't seem like proper shinigami at all. As shinigami I'd expect at the very least that death gods know all about humans because they preside over human death!!! Since they're "gods", I'd expect them to have the intelligence to match that title. And finally I'd expect a deathgod to have their own powers not just feed off the quality of a book. Bleach shows shinigami having all their attributes more than deathnote my vote confidently goes to bleach! :cool: |

Ur right Tsuzuki-san. YNM is just as cool but I have a bit of a soft spot for Bleach :rolleyes: not to mention Byakuya being my all time favourite Idol! If I could cast 2 votes it would be for YNM and Bleach I guess... though I'd probably prefer casting three votes and choosing all three LOL!

I like the shinigamis from Bleach and Death Note. They're so...awesome.
Oh, and BTW, there are shinigami in other animes, like Full Moon o Sagashite. =3 |
