itentify this anime?
 

when I was a kid I remember seeing this on TV and have always wanted to see it again but never knew what it was called, so here were the basic components that I remember.

it was scifi- so space ships and stuff. a space war is taking place between people (who turn out all to be women) and some scary, alien looking guys. apparently they want to try to make peace and the only way to do so is to make a hybrid of their two species. they make a hybrid who turns out to be a man, then they have a big battle and everything is blown up except for this guy and one of the women who then in turn settle on the earth, presumably to populate it.

anyone know the name of this mystery anime?
