My favorite character is Haruhi. She's just so... eccentric and interesting.

i saw some of melancholy awhile ago, i thought the plot was kind of odd... but the art and characters were quite good

I just finished watching it, and what a sudden ending. When is the next part coming out

It is a great anime, watched it last summer. I heard that they might be making a second season.

Update on the 2nd season of "Suzumiya Haruhi" from Newtype!

An article appeared in the June 2008 edition of Newtype. It seems that once again, the project concept has been redirected. The 2nd season is canceled (again >.<) and a whole new production is in the works. Sorry I don't have more info, but my Japanese language skill are almost nonexistent.
