Gundam 00: Season 2
 

To all known (and unknown) lovers of Mecha out there........alright, sounds wrong for an intro but please work with me here:p

Gundam 00, 2nd season aired in Japan on Sunday. Yesterday, surprisingly, I found a pretty decent sub of it floatiung around. So afater watching it I can come to the following conclusion: its awesome. A great series if this, and the first season, are anything to go by.

Anyway, I just wanted to open a topic about it and see what anyone else thought about it.

I saw it last night and it's way awesome, the first season was very good, but this one shows more premise... Can't wait for the Next ep.

Yes, yes it is. I must have watched it about 6 times at least. I may be slightly addicted to it.

Okay, Animespeaker has episode 2 up. Its called 'Twin Drive' and the episode's starting to reintroduce old characters as well as some new ones. The action is still fast paced, but it doesn'y leave out the plot.

yeah they should've really let the whole Lockon thing go,tho it looks like this 'brother' is gonna be a bit of a traiter so it could be interesting. i'm liking the new theme tune too,it's good that they got uverworld to do it :)

The whole 'Lockon' thing was hinted in ep 25 of the first season. At least this way he looks like he's actually dead and not still kicking around somewhere. Though the intro does make me wonder.....
And come on, how many Gundam series have had characters 'die' just for them to turn up again later on?
Still 00 Gundam is just sweet. I may be playing with photoshop again soon....

i've just taken delivery of the DS game :) it's awesome! the battles are epic!

:eek: :eek: :eek: this weeks ep is a heavy one,not a massive amount of action but some interesting developments.be sure to watch the segment after the credits it's v.important!

There just so much anime to watch out there. Almost all my asian friends here are talking about it and I'm clueless.

Gundam is a pretty vast collection of animes and can be quite daunting to get into,but it is well worth it there is some great storylines and animation :vsign:

Just be careful where you start. I think that everything pre G Gundam was all tied in to one story. Everthing post G Gundam is a little odd, as its been 5/5 (more?) differant stories/universes.
And this weeks G 00 was full of awesome.

Although, I'm really starting to wonder about that other group. You know, the one with what looks like a cloned (?) Tieria + Ali in. What in all thats good, are they?

Already saw ep.07... It started out great, loads of Gundam action... And we got some "zex"(watch the ep. and you will understand the joke)... And Pieries is no more, thank god, I hated that chick...

And Soma wasn't too bad a character. She was pretty good, and had the makings of a lot of possibilities. Definately glad that 'that' story has finished though. Now they just need to do the rest.

You're going to make me spoil but screw it:
That scene where Soma Pieries "dies" and Maria appears, she is screaming on the floor and laying on top of Allelujah... Forget it... Its a dumb joke anyway...
And what would have appened if Saji had killed Louise, would he even know?

i know this thread sorta died out but I just watched the last episode and at the end it said there's gonna be a movie next year! aaaaaaaah!

I also cant wait for the movie, hopefully my Japanese would have advanced enough so that I can watch it without subs. But I greatly enjoyed the series.

Remember that there was supposed to be a Gundam:SeeD movie at some point. Haven't seen any sign of it yet though.

Still, I'll be bouncing like a little fangirl if it ever does get released....

Yays for putting some proper non-humans into Gundam for a change. Although lets hope it doesn't then turn 00 into something similar to another well known space opera.

I thought season one was wayyy better, mostly because the ending for season two kind of sucked and they killed off a lot of cool characters. I'm wondering how the movie's going to turn out...
