How to you like your manga?
How do you like to read your manga?
|
I would answer your question, but I'm not entirely sure what it is. :o

Ah, my apologies.
I would definitely have to say floppies. :) I'm a bit of a collector and it's easier for me to store them. That and the fact that often I'm not interested in all of the things in the larger mags. *nod* |
Regular Tankobon 200 pages, like something with some substance ^_^ I've never seen a 400 page manga T_T hmm.......but I do read Shojobeat sometimes but not as much as Id rather just go buy the manga now :)
|
I like my manga a little charred and lightly salted. ;)
For realz, I like the jumbo tankobons. I love it when I buy three books-in-one in the original magazine print for $15. Saves me A LOT of money. Otherwise, I love my Shoujo Beat magazines. I get so excited. It was stupid for a little while, but now it has gotten much better! |
Woops, accidently voted for mags like Shonen Jump. anyways, I read this in regular 200 page tankobon. :D
|
Hmm. I like the jumbo, but they're a pain to carry if you get the huge ones.
I like floppies & regular |
How do i like my manga?
Sunny side up. XD |
Shaken, not stirred.
|
I prefer regular Tankobon though I haven't read a jumbo one. I'll have to check those out ^_^
|
LOL! All of the above and with a side of sushi or ramen or udon - mmmm udon :) reading manga makes me hungry :)

Regular tankobon, and sometimes jumbo tankobon. I'm a pretty quick reader, so I like manga to last for a while, and floppies and magazines don't cut it for me.
|
Regular manga
Experimental manga Style manga I love manga that draws me into its pages! |

Regular tankobon.
The weekly compilations are too much of a pain to keep up with and buy, and are awful to store - especially when you`re only interested in a series or two. A quick question of my own - do they still refer to them as tankobon outside of Japan? |

Hmm; what is this size called? ![]() its the same size as a dvd box (height)... sorry, i don't know how many pages, but i'd take a stab at about 200 :s incidentally the manga I'm holding is awesome, i just need to find the second volume... |
regular tankobon & floppies. :3
|
Magazines are great, and what I pay most attention to. It's difficult for me to spend money on a tankoban unless I already know for sure that I'll like it. And if it's a series I know I enjoy, I prefer to get the jumbo tankoban if available. Of course, magazines are limited in the US, which is sad. When I reach the point of semi-literacy in Japanese, I will find someone in Japan willing to get them and send them to me!

But seriously, I never held a real manga in my hands, so I can't answer that question. |

I like my manga in my hands, where it belongs.
I'm not a big anime fan, but I have a pretty nifty little manga collection. (I voted regular tankoban) |
I've always enjoyed the volumes.
It's a nice little thing to look forward to every two months or so, when you know the next volume in your series is coming out. I really appreciate being able to buy them, and to be able to contribute to the artist's greatness. |
regular tankobon. but as of now i wont be able to spend any money on buying or renting manga...so i just have my manga mag (shojo beat)...
...damn just realized i may not be able to get the next Kaze Hikaru! TT |
What are floppies? I've never even heard about the entire concept of a manga being 35 pages... Post a pic if you can.

I don't think I've ever seen them either O.o
Guess you're not alone here, Yuna :p |
I like Shonen jump & regulars. (^^)v
|
I like the regular manga format in invidual volumes.
|
I think the closest thing to a floppy I know of is this old comic from my Pokemon game I got YEARS ago. It's tiny and has a short story in it. I read it sometime last year for the first time in a long time. It was so funny.
