I've been to 3 so far and I have another coming up in a little less than a month. ColossalCon will be the first one I'm spending the whole weekend at and doing more than one cosplay for, so I've got a ton of work to do for it. Not that I've started yet...

Once a year I'll go the Armageddon, since that's the best time to get a range of anime and manga not normally available in NZ for heavily discounted prices. Beats having to source it all online (although I do that anyway).

I haven't been to a technical Anime con but I went to one a year or so ago called dragon con, it wa more fantasy/scifi though the anime part wasn't to big yet. Id like to go to one though. I live in TN, anyone know any good ones nearby?

I went to my first anime convention last year. It was amazing. :D Anime Expo is fantastic. I'm so happy that I'm going again this year.

It's great to get away from things once in a while you know? A couple of my friends don't watch anime and think it's childish. It's great to just let loose at conventions and be with people who share the same interest. Sucks to go back to the normal life though...
