For beginners
 

I've been a keen follower of Naruto anime series and I've also seen Full Metal Alchemist (and following : Brotherhood) and so on but I am wondering which manga/anime would be best for a beginner in this language. I'm about to start a university program and I will study Japanese for three years and I figured I might combine my interest for anime together with studying.

To make it short:
Is there any manga/anime that's considered easy to read/listen to for a beginner?

None - Anime and Manga are replete with colloquialisms that range from extremely difficult to impossible to find in dictionaries.
However, there is a very good manga with CD based teaching resource available at a (semi) reasonable price sampler over here.

depends if you already know japanese

Try anime that stick to more of the professional dialogues, just like how they teach you in class.

For example:
Monster
Mushishi
Detective Conan (May seem odd, but a lot of formal dialogue is used in there.)
