Looking for sth new to watch
 

hey guys,
nice forum you got going on here! anyway, i haven't watched anime in a long time - somehow grew tired of it - but now i feel like i want to watch sth again. however i don't wanna watch some random series and since i've been out of the game for some time now i have no clue what i should watch and i thought maybe you could help me out!
i'm looking for an - i'd coin it - "adult" series, but don't get me wrong, nothing fishy! e.g. i watched and highly enjoyed mushishi! so i don't want something cute or goofy! i don't know how to describe it properly, in mushishi i loved the mellow, rural atmosphere and the sophisticated storytelling, plot and characters! btw, i'm basically open for any genre as long as it meets the "criteria" ;)
right now, i can't think of anything else...if anyone has a suggestion please post, i'd appreciate it!

edit: when i say "new" in the title, i don't mean that the series has to be a new one, just new for me :)
