highschool of the dead
 

i'm a big fan of george romero's "dead" saga.the first 2 films were masterpieces."night of the living dead" and thre original"dawn of the dead".the others that followed were not as good yet still better than the average splatter flick...they're plenty of imitators (mostly bad),but the best i've read was vol.1 manga "highschool of the dead".i think it captures the end of the world feeling that romero invisioned at the start yet was somewhat lost with the cost of zombie effects.the comeplete anime set is out now,i can't wait to find it.:eek:

Just wanted to say that I think it should be included in your "Masterpieces" statement. Haven't seen any that follow that (wich were made like 20 years later, or something?)

yeah but people in that underground bunker were unlikeable.i didn't care what happened to them.i did like that crazy doctor that tried to find a solution.oh yeah'and our buddy "bub".:mtongue:
