Rurouni Kenshin is on eof my favourites next Samurai Champloo and Naruto.
|
My puppy's name is derived from Kenshin name, my pups name is Kenshi.

rurouni kenshin or samurai x is currently on my top of the list of samurai anime films/series...not only was it entertaining and moving but semi-historical as well...
indeed, it was very sad that kenshin has to die not from battling enemies but from some form of disease (leprosy?)...though on a lighter note, he's got a son from kaori named as kenji who succeeded him...hmm, i'm wondering if they will ever made a samurai story for that boy??? |
The OVA was magnificent, the anime less so though. Season two stuck close to the manga and was great, but with a season three like that, no wonder they cancelled it to be honest.
All in all very good though, at least the manga ended good. |

I read the manga, too. And yes, Kenshin only dies in the anime. I think that's why I like more the manga version than the anime (obviously because Kenshin doesn't die :p ). And I really love Rurouni Kenshin. I think it was good ^_^. But I really wanted to see more about the relationship between Kenshin and Kaoru...and how they get to marry...and all the romatic stuff...but anyway...it was good as the way it is :D ...by the way the OVA version made me cry :p .........:vsign: :ywave: !! |
I love the manga, and not-so-much the anime. I liked the outtakes that are released on the anime boxsets, but not so much the show. Simply because Kenshin died at the end and I was devestated. I was like... 10 years old or less ... and it was my first anime and I almost went to therapy.... The OVAs were so sad, and I loved them! -goes to watch again- |
I think it was quite good...
