I wasn't really a gay basher, but it felt really awkward whenever the subject came up. I was raised learning that it was abnormal, but when i started reading shounen-ai and yaoi i found that i didn't mind it. I'm straight, but i still support gay rights here in sweden, and i actually went to a demonstration (quite some time ago, but anyway) with some of my friends. My mum freaked out when she found out about it though. ^^;
If they find out i have yaoi, especially the explicit ones, I'll be in for hell. They don't really mind people being gay, as long as they don't show it. |
