Japaneses are genious, but not for the animes, for many other reasons, technological development, for example.

kitski 07-05-2007 06:34 PM

@acidreptile: what do you mean.not geniouses for the anime?they invented the anime.

He's a boy, I think.

Anyway, Japanese people are idealized but I'm not surprised when reading opinions like forgotenmemory's in this forum cause most people here share her point of view. I agree with Acidreptile.

Threads like this one however, aren't much better though. In fact, they have quite a lot in common.

This thread isn't negative towards anyone. It may be misplace positivity but that's in no way comparable to the sheer negativity by youtube users.

Heh, terms like girly are so silly. "Masculine" and "feminine" are unnecessary social constructs.

forgotenmemory 07-05-2007 09:07 PM

I don't get it is um how should I say it that person a boy or girl?

Its not in negativity/positivity that they resemble eachother, but in lack of rational reasoning...

kyo_9 07-06-2007 07:30 AM

but seriously..
japanese is not that genius..
they just like to learn and improve...
that's all..
genius is a much more higher meaning..
in my opinion...

kireikoori 07-06-2007 07:34 AM

IQ by country:
Average IQ in US and 80 other nations

I don't think IQ is a true measure of one's intelligence though. There are different kinds of intelligence.

Yggdrazzil 07-06-2007 08:06 AM

I wonder how they measured it..

Haggis 07-06-2007 10:09 AM

Intelligence is knowing that the tomato is a fruit
Wisdom is not putting it into a fruit salad.

Yggdrazzil 07-06-2007 10:12 AM

Hahahaha, that's a nice way of putting it :D

They make random people of each country take the test, then divide the sum of all the results by the number of people who took the test, and that's the avarage number.

I did it a couple of years ago, I got 116.

I got the general idea suki-ku..suki what I wanted to know is stuff like:
How many people per country were examined? Were the tests in their native language or in english? When was it tested? How often?

thanks for the explanation though :D awesome dud...girl! :D :D

I have a question for you:
How come you can spell geniuses but not Japanese?

And with regards to the IQ test thing, I must be pretty above average for my country if my IQ is 136.
Those averages can't be right.

Yggdrazzil 07-06-2007 02:11 PM

He probably thought the he knew how to spell japanese, and was insecure about the plural of genius. So he looked that up. ..that's my theory anyway :D

You're a try hard.

Anyway, I took the test in English which ain't my first lenguage, does that mean I would have got a higher punctuation if I'd taken it in Spanish?

I agree, those avarges can't be right cause America's is too high to be true.

Yggdrazzil 07-06-2007 02:42 PM

Usually you score higher in your primal/mother/native-language...

I don't know sometimes words comes harder others easier.

All countries have their strengths and weaknesses. Back before World War 2, Japan had one of the largest navies in the world, easily able to rival America.
After they were left with almost nothing by the dropping of the Atomic Bombs, they stood up and rebuilt their country even better. Most Plants, Art, Landscaping etc and some Martial Arts are associated with Japan. On top of that, Japan became hugely successful in the electronics industry. They adapted to change and didn't let it outdo them. They built buildings resistant to earthquakes and perfected evacuation procedures while other countries in similar situations were yet to get up and do something about it.
Because of these attributes and many others, Japan is indeed a very awesome country.
Kudos to them. :vsign:
